  • Is there a discount for Civil Servants?
    Yes. Active-duty Police and Fire will receive 50% off their Treatments and Herbs.
  • Do you take Insurance?
    In short, no. This is why we keep our pricing affordable and below market value. We want to provide an affordable alternative to the insurance system. We will however provide you with a super-bill which you make take to your insurance provider to apply for reimbursement.
  • Does acupuncture hurt?
    Acupuncture may create rapid changes in the body. This is a good thing, and why acupuncture is so effective. These rapid changes in the body might be interpreted as an intense sensation, but just like a stretch may illicit, it is a healing type of sensation; Think ‘hurts so good.’ Most patients report enjoying the overall experience and look forward to returning.
  • Can Acupuncture &/or Herbal Medicine treat my condition?
    Traditional Chinese Medicine including Acupuncture, Bodywork and Herbal Medicine is a complete system of medicine. As a system, Chinese Medicine is capable of addressing a myriad of health conditions. In some cases, Chinese Medicine can reverse illness, in other cases it may alleviate symptoms or improve the quality of life for the patient. We recommend booking a new patient consultation to answer specific questions regarding how Chinese Medicine can help you.
  • Do you make house calls or see patients outside of the clinic?
    Please email inquiries to justin@guidinghealthclinic.com. Pricing and availability will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Where do I park when visiting GHC?
    Please, park on the street and follow local parking laws.
  • Should I tip my practitioner?
    No. We are a gratuity free establishment.
